The fun thing about 9s is thats actual a LORE thing. He is SMART enough to figurue out how to be a combat model even though his programing forbids it. You see he is never touching the blade when he strikes. He is lifting it with teleketics and it just happens to be swinging at your face

personally i find it easiest to just wait for them to drop their shields and in that moment just go full assault. as long as you've been upgrading your weapon as you go, this usually does the trick for me.

Would be neat if the enemy AI actually reflected the damage inflicted. Imagine if the lion head literally split in half and the two halves were just dangling limply
